As of now, Second Impressions is on hiatus. Permanently? Perhaps. Simply put, I can't write, and most of the stuff available now is crap. This site was supported by submissions, of which there were far too few.

Traffic was low, too. There simply haven't been enough click-throughs to justify the money I pay for webspace. In over two years, there have only been a little more than 100,000 visitors, hardly worth even keeping the site open, especially when the webmistress can't write or draw to save her own ass.

If you can come up with a valid reason why I should bother to continue keeping this place running, you're free to e-mail it to me, and I'll consider it. Otherwise...

It was fun while it lasted, and it would be nice if it could be fun again. I'm not sure if that will happen. As I said, e-mail if you think you can make it fun. Be daring and submit something. Suggest a new layout. Anything. Send me pictures of Elrond and Celeborn having hot, passionate sex and I may actually come out of my comatose state long enough to post them.
